This Privacy Policy describes how the mobile application Slide Cafe – Word Game ("Slide Cafe", the "App", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the App on iOS or Android devices.
Slide Cafe is published under the z6type brand, operated by an individual independent developer (the "Developer"). z6type is not an incorporated legal entity. References to "we" in this Policy mean the Developer operating under the z6type brand.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Scope and Summary
Slide Cafe is a single-player word puzzle game designed to operate with as little personal information as possible.
- No account, sign-up, sign-in, or profile is required.
- We do not collect your name, email, phone number, address, or photo.
- We do not collect posts, uploads, or other user-generated content.
- Game progress, settings, and entitlements are stored locally on your device using secure platform storage.
- We use Google Firebase Analytics for analytics and Google AdMob for advertising.
- In-app purchases are processed only by Apple App Store or Google Play. We never receive or store payment card details.
2. Who We Are (Data Controller)
- Brand: z6type
- Role: Independent developer (not an incorporated company)
- Contact email: info@z6type.com
Third-party providers such as Google, Apple, and Google Play act as independent controllers or joint controllers for the information they process under their own policies.
3. Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect direct identifiers such as real name, email, or address.
- We do not require social login or account creation.
- We do not access contacts, calendar, SMS, call logs, camera, microphone, photos, or precise GPS.
- We do not upload your saved progress or device settings to our own servers.
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising without consent.
4. Information We (and Our SDKs) Do Process
4.1 Information stored only on your device
- Game state, unfinished puzzle data, hints used, and move counts
- Settings such as language, sound, haptics, tutorial state, and onboarding flags
- Entitlements such as ad-free, premium access, and expiry timestamps
- Limited local analytics history for diagnostics
- Locally generated session identifiers and random player seed values
This data remains on your device unless you explicitly share it. It is deleted when you uninstall the App.
4.2 Google Firebase Analytics
Firebase Analytics may process a Firebase app instance ID, device model, operating system version, locale, app version, install source, first open timestamp, session data, coarse location inferred from IP, gameplay events, and crash or error diagnostics.
We do not send direct identifiers such as name or email to Firebase. Event parameters are sanitized and truncated before logging.
Purpose / Legal basis: analytics, bug fixing, balancing gameplay, and measuring feature usage, based on legitimate interests and/or consent where required.
4.3 Google AdMob
AdMob may process advertising identifiers (IDFA or Android Advertising ID, where available), coarse location inferred from IP, device and language data, app identifier, and ad interaction data such as impressions, clicks, closures, and rewarded ad completion.
- On iOS, declining App Tracking Transparency results in non-personalized ads.
- In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, consent is collected before personalized ads or non-essential identifiers are used where required.
- Users can revisit ad choices from Settings -> Privacy.
Purpose / Legal basis: monetization, contextual ads, frequency capping, and personalized advertising where consent is provided.
4.4 In-app purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play Billing. We only receive the receipt or product identifier needed to validate and unlock the purchase on your device. We do not receive your payment card, billing address, Apple ID, or Google account email.
4.5 OS-level crash and diagnostics
Apple and Google may collect crash logs and performance data under your operating system privacy settings. Those flows are governed by Apple and Google, not by z6type.
